Castle of Ippenburg, Bad Essen, Germany

Three borders were made in the forecourt of the castle: perennial plants with blue and lilac flowers, mixed with spring, summer and autumn flowering bulbs in a combination of  purple, lilac, pink and orange colours. At the back side of the castle  6 borders were layed out in the lawns on both sides of the central pathway; the plant scheme here involved a mixture of ornamental grasses and perennial and annual plants with yellow flowers. Spring and summer flowering bulbs in cream, yellow, pink and orange colours were added.
